Situation now at Norwegian School of Economics and Business:

At our site we have been running CDROMs for 1.5 years with access from
PC, Mac, Ultrix and VT-terminals.  All users have to log in to the VAXen
and execute a DCL-routine.  (This also allows remote users to access
CDROMs via modems, leased lines and packet switched network).  The
CDROM-readers are hooked up to a Logicraft 386 Multiuser DOS-machine. 
This Logicraft also acts as a Pathworks client towards the VAXen. 

We are migrating to an Infoserver 100 (with 8 readers) and an 
Infoserver 150 (with 13 readers). The plan is to connect all MS-DOS PCs
directly to the Infoservers but the Macs etc must still connect to the
VAXen. The point is that non Intel-based computers have to execute Intel
instructions somewhere due to the nature of the retrieval programs.

The difference will be that the Logicraft connects to the Infoservers
instead of having CDROM-readers localy.  I am waiting for an upgrade to
Pathworks Client v.4.x for the Logicraft to accomplish this.
