Several of our international banking clients based in the "CITY" are looking for experienced DEC VAX programmers with 'C' programming skills to develop and enhance financial applications, specifically in the FX and Derivatives trading areas. You will be responsible for on-going development or new development of Derivatives or FX systems using VMS and C. Some of our clients are replacing their DEC hardware with new SPARC or RISC architectures. The opportunity exists for VAX/C developers to cross-train into Java, C++, and Sybase. Candidates must have a strong VAX/VMS and C development background. You do not need previous financial industry experience, but this would obviously be an advantage. Good presentation skills are a must. My clients offer an excellent salary package. This includes a base salary of up to $55k, plus excellent bonus, and BB's.
