I am teaching an operating systems course and using XINU as the system to be studied at code level. If you have simple pieces of code that illustrate the various features of the operating system I would appreciate a copy. I am most interested in code that illustrates semaphores, and message passing other than the examples that come with the XINU distribution. Lastly, for a project I am exploring the feasibility of adding a second terminal on the PC via the serial port and have xinu use two input devices and two output tty's and thus have the ability to run two interactive programs simultaneously. Any ideas on possible trouble areas that I may run into or has anyone actually done this? -- Jin Mazumdar (internet:) mazumdar@mary.cs.fredonia.edu >>> Dept. Of Math and C.
