Bugs in internetworking release??

I've been doing a lot of development with the Internetworking Release
(Version 7.9) of Xinu, and I wonder if there are patches or bug fixes
against this particular version?

In the Preface to Comer's TCP/IP (V II), he states:

Shawn Osterman integrated the TCP/IP code into Xinu version 8,
and ported it from the original Sun 3 platform to a Decstation
3100. In the process, he uncovered and helped solve several
problems, including byte-ordering and memory allocation bugs.

And Further on:

Their testing exercised TCP extensively, and pointed out several
     performance problems.

I actually ordered Xinu version 8 (from Jim Griffioen, U. Kentucky),
but this had NO tcp code in it.

All I'm really interested in is the bug fixes against Xinu 7.9.
Can anyone help me?

JR
