Hello,
I would like to send the following message to Prof. Timothy Fossum.
Unfortunately, I don't have his Internet address.
Could someone give it to me, and/or forward the message ?
Thanks

--------------------------------
Hello,
I use PC-Xinu v7 with an WD8003EP network adapter and it works well.
However, I would also like to use 3-COM 3C501 boards.
It seems that the necessary drivers are available.
Furthemore, they should have been distributed with Xinu, as said in the
'readme' file:
<<
This is the source distribution for PC-Xinu Net, from the University
of Wisconsin-Parkside Applied Computer Science Department.
....
The network supports two Ethernet devices, the 3-COM 3C501 board and the
Western Digital WD8003E board. In addition, serlial line (SLIP) support
is available for installations that do not have Ethernet capabilities.
As distributed, the code works for the WD8003E. It will be necessary
to reconfigure and recompile to handle the 3C501 or SLIP interfaces.
(Work is in progress to support the packet driver specification.)
....

Unfortunately, I can't find them !
If it is possible, could you send them to me ?
About other cards
-----------------
It becomes increasingly difficult to buy 8bits-cards like these above.
Most cards currently available on the market place nowadays are 16bits cards
(like the SMC 8013 EPC card ).
I would like to know if you are developping drivers for these new cards.
I thank you for your attention and look forward to receiving your response.
Best Regards,
