We need some help in Japan.

Toshiba has filed an application for a patent in Japan. The patent  
describes an electronic mail system capable of imbedding, delivering,  
and playing back sound files.  We're trying to find publications  
which describe such a system and is out in the public domain.  It  
must predate the Toshiba claim of April 24, 1981.  This will allow  
Canon to file an official objection to the Toshiba application and  
prevent Toshiba from coming after NeXTMail in Japan.  We are trying  
find something in the next week to ten days.

Do you know of anything?  Is there anyone who might know?  Are there  
places we might go for this information?
