The Damaged Drive catalog strikes again! The other day, I tried to load a font through Suitcase, and in the folder menu for my fonts folder on my external drive, Suitcase claimed that all the fonts after Corona on my drive had been renamed Corona. It claimed that I had everything up to C, and then everything after that was just copies of Corona. Well, I KNEW that wasn't the case, so I quit and looked in the font folder. Well, the fonts ended at C, even though I knew that all the fonts up to Z must STILL be in there. So I tried to run MacTools, and lo and behold, the catalog file "contains an invalid backward link from one node to another." Well, that's fine and good, but MacTools can't repair it! I tried rebuilding the desktop and doing it again - no luck. When I run Disinfectant on it, it claims that many of the font files and a good number of others have damaged resource forks, though this was not the case two days ago. Does anyone have ANY help they could give me? It isn't going away this time, and I need my fonts and that drive to be functional. I will owe you a very big one. ADVthanksANCE, Matt
