  I was poking around the CS hardware/Mach lab a couple of
weeks ago and noticed a scanner plugged into one of the ATs
that serve as 6809 development systems. After a couple of inquiries,
I was told that no one had any documentation at all on the beast,
except that it was donated by Corel.
  A friend of mine at Corel is going to ask about a bit, but 
I suspect only one was bought, and probably they didn't like it
(which is why we have it).
  I'd like to hook it up to a Mach386 machine and build a driver
for it. This I can do once I know something about the beast.

  It has a Centronics port on the back, which is plugged into
a sparc parallel port on the AT. I assume that it uses the parallel 
port in some sort of bidirectional mode. I haven't started hacking
around with the hardware yet, hoping I can get info.
  I found no addresses of the maker on it. If anyone can provide
that, I'd be very happy.
