Want info on Archive QIC tape drives

I have the opportunity to buy several Archive quarter-inch tape drives
really cheaply, but I'd like to obtain a bit of information about them
before I risk addition to my pile of stuff I can't really use.

The model numbers are 5945C, 2150L and 2150S. A couple are marked 150MB.
they have different I/O connectors, all with 50 pins. Can I assume these
are SCSI devices or ESDI or whatever? (I'm really looking for SCSI.) I
could also use info on device address jumpering and such.

I already have a huge pile of QIC tapes that somebody gave me, so there's
a real incentive to set up for use of these as a backup medium.

Replies by email would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Odds are that the drives in question are either QIC-02 or
QIC-36 Drives. The 2150S is a SCSI drive and should be OK.
Don't take the others.
