>Bad example. Ordered a pizza by phone lately?
"Hello, Pete's Pizza and Pasta, Pete speaking."
"I'd like a pizza Pete please."
"Okay, what's your name and phone number?"
"I'm not going to tell you, it's my privacy."
"Click..."
>I pay to keep my number unlisted, thankyouverymuch.
Does this mean you have never gotten an unwanted phone call?
>I'd rather choose who has access to that information.
You do, in fact you have TOTAL CONTROL over who can get your number with
Caller ID. Unlike the many other ways over which you have no control
and have nothing to do with Caller ID. If you don't want me to have
your phone number, then don't call me.
"I'm not going to tell you, it's my privacy and I'm not going
to tell you my address for your delivery and I insist that you
close your eyes when I pick it up."
"Hey Paula, come listen to this nutcake."
