A friend here is trying to install a LaserWriter IIg and is having some trouble. When connected to the corporate Ethernet, we do not see the printer. When put on a stand-alone LAN, we can see the printer. After unpacking the printer, this person did send a PostScript job to the printer (via LocalTalk) to set the zone. This was before the printer was connected to the Ethernet. My question is does someone have a PostScript job that would either: 1) Reset the printer to its factory defaults, or 2) Print the current settings (e.g., zone, appletalk address, ethernet address, active interfaces, etc.) Thanks!
