Two problems:

1. CAP, IRIX and EtherTalk phase 2

As far as I/we can tell, CAP server running under IRIX 4.0.5. can not be 
configured to EtherTalk phase 2, we have had to put the server to phase 
1, which prevents us from fully benefitting from EtherTalk phase 2 
possibilities.  Has anyone out there a CAP version for IRIX, which would 
work under phase 2?

2. CAP and system 7 aliases

I already know that CAP does not retain file ID's (as AppleShare volumes 
should) and therefore aliases pointing to CAP folders/files from other 
volumes (such as local Mac HD) do not work.  Is anyone working around 
this or working on a fix and when might such a patch be available?  How 
about commercial products - are they any better in this respect?
