I can't figure out why I can't get the PPP Event "Open" button to
darken....I tried opening a different MacTCP application, like the
document indicates, but have not had any luck.  I was using the
Printer port to attach to the modem (a Shiva NetModem) but perhaps
MacPPP is not compatible with the Shiva NetModem drivers.  I do not
have a serial modem handy but perhaps I should try that.

Any advice?
