The Macintosh ARNS Server version 1.0 BETA 3 (which was available between
July 13 and August 26) has an internal timeout which will prevent it from
being started after Wednesday August 31.

This restriction was noted in a file called "WARNING" in the distribution
directory but a number of sites did not download this file.

This message is to announce that the release version 1.0, without timeout,
is now available via anonymous FTP from munnari.OZ.AU as

	mac/arns_mac/arns.1.0.hqx.Z

length 152791, dated Aug 26 15:04.

The ARNS Admin program is unchanged, the ARNS Server code contains a minor
code modification for use on networks with a single VAXShare server.
