Subject: Hello!!!

Hello. I just joined this list today. My company has a RSCS link to the IBM
Mail network, which gives us mail access to X.400 addressing. Through other
means and my own personal investigating. I 'discovered' a mail link to BITNET
through the EARN X.400 to BITNET gateway located in France. This gateway has
also give me mail access to Internet users too. If anyone knows of a U.S.
based X.400 to BITNET gateway, I would appreciate hearing about it.

My job here at Nationwide Ins. involves working with mainframe (MVS) & PC file
transfer programs. In particular I'm the system programmer for the following
products: Legent/Spectrum's XCOM 6.2, IBM's FTP, System Center's NDM and
OpenConnect Systems FTP Server. I also dabble with VTAM and NCP and other misc.
networking topics. One of the latest network projects I worked on was the
installation of a product called ICE 2.1, from Signum, PLC. This product is
being used to give our 3270 terminal users access to a Tandem Pathway
application. So far it's been working very well.

As you may guess our mail system here is IBM's PROFs. In the next few weeks we
will be migrating to OV/VM.

Looking to hear from you via this list.

Thanks.
