I have no direct experience with the Hyperchannel boxes. I've heard
mixed things about them from VM sites, but none of my local MVS
contacts have them.

The VM sites I know of that have them are generally pleased with
the performance of the NSC boxes, but had a lot of difficulty
getting them configured right. One is a new TCP site, so I tend
to discount some of that as just installation jitters, but the
other one is a pretty established setup, so I'd expect them to
have a better handle on it.

I had heard that there was a mailing list for Hyperchannel users,
but the name and location escapes me at the moment. Anyone else
have a pointer to it?
