i picked up a couple of these boards at a ham radio flea market.

(i thought they were multiport AST cards, but only the first one was)

in any case, it appears that the cards in question are RS-232 sync cards.

i could use them with a pair of CSU/DSU's, but i don't have any specs on the
switch settings, nor do i know the io addresses or IRQ's.

here is the info i can derive from the box, and the mini-manual enclosed

the label on the box reads:

NT (Northern Telecom)
Equipment type V6140 PEC Code NT3U67AH-2
AOC COMMS CARD ADAPTER
Part Number: 30670031 Rlease REL 01 16FT1225

the manual is titled: Synchronous Communications Vienna AOC Adapter option

the notes go on to say:

this adapter allows you to connect your Vienna-AOC (a pc?) to a mainframe
using the following protocols BSC 3270, BSC 3780, SNA 3274

the manual gives the settings for the two sets of DIP's but does not give
any detail as to what those settings mean.

the main chip on the card is a Zilog Z8530PS

it is an 8 bit card.

the markings indicate that it was made by Vector International, with the
part number PC-SCC.

any help identifying this card, or directions for getting better docs
would be appreciated.
