I am posting this question on behalf of a friend who has no access to
the net.

He is looking for communications products for DOS and/or OS/2 with a
counterpart in an IBM mainframe. The main purpose is file transfer.

The product should run on top of LU6.2.

The mainframe application program should run under CICS or IMS.

Standard products will be prefered.

The scenario includes a number of mainframes, IBM3745 communications
controllers and a large number of PS/2s and PCs spread all over the
country. LANs will be IBM token ring. WANs will be SNA.
