I believe so, though the lower layers will be in the kernel with a socket
interface, using the standard ISODE distribution for upper layers.

Dunno about that, though releases up to 7.0 are freely available.
Upcoming releases will be freely licensable to educational sites.
Where the real nitty gritty comes in.......
