There has been a strange behaviour of the MicroVax running under Ultrix 4.2
after the Installation of DEC X.25 software. One can login only as root
although users are still intact. If trying to login as a user other than root
the machine protests saying "No directories!" and says that it could
not find the /bin/csh. If logging in as root this problem doesnot arise.
Did I miss something very elementary while installing the X.25? To the
best of my knowledge, no - as I have double confirmed and checked it.
All directories of the users are there as usual.

Is it possible that Ultrix 4.2 was not installed properly?

Any comments are most welcome and thank you!
