Hello, for thoose who may know a little about the ISODE layers, is it possible to obtain the connecting users identity from the ACSAP? I guess it may depend on the applications, but is a username transfered with the connection setup info for any applications? Lastly, Does the session layer PDU have both theintiating users ID, or name, and a responding users ID? I am digging around in the code and can see the address of the initiating host, but no where do I get info for any application about usernames. Is this specific to an application (ie: vt), and thus unavailable within the layers.? thanks for any help. -BC. GTE Corp.
