Hi Net-workers,

I plan to implement a part of MMS protocol (OSI AL protocol),
expanded as Manufacturing Message Specification.  I have the original
protocol definition and am learning the ASN.1 syntax.

Can someone suggest me - how to go about implementing an OSI AL protocol.
I mean are there any procedures, software tools, example implementations,
related books which can aid a beginner.  I am not using an ISODEnvironment.
