Ask them better for the 1992 version of the standard.

                     CCITT Recommendations

Up to the IXth CCITT Plenary Assembly (Melbourne, 1988)
CCITT Recommendations were approved by the Plenary Assemblies
and were published in the CCITT Book, issued after each Assembly,
with a different colour every four years. The last CCITT Book
to be published is the Blue Book (Melbourne, 1988).

The IXth Plenary Assembly, aware that rapid changes in
technology and telecommunication services made it desirable to
introduce an accelerated procedure for the approval of new and
revised Recommendations between Plenary Assemblies, adopted
Resolution No. 2, laying down the rules for the approval of new
or revised Recommendations between Plenary Assemblies.

A large number of new and revised Recommendations have
been approved under the procedure described in Resolution No. 2
during the current study period (1989-1992). Each of those
Recommendations is published as a separate brochure as soon as
possible after it has been approved.
