Hello,
I'm looking for the standardization documents describing XMP and XOM
(ASN.1 stuff). Any pointers would be helpfuls.

Regards,
 Guenther

You can obtain these documents from X/Open in the UK:

X/Open Company Limited
Apex Plaza
Forbury Road
Reading
Berkshire RG1 1AX
UK

or email to:

XoSpecs@xopen.co.uk

--------------------------------

It's worth noting that XOM is being 'standardized' by the IEEE (P1224).
P1224 is 'strongly' based upon XOM. I haven't catalogued the differences
and don't know if anyone has (P1224 is not completely out of the draft
phase yet). I think an XMP equivalent is undergoing the same treatment.

If you have any queries on XOM, don't hesitate to email me, as I've
implemented that API. The experience was not pleasant!

regards,

brian may.
