The subject line says it all. A potential employer has indicated that they work with Allen-Bradley PLC protocols. Now I'm a networking person myself, but obviously I let somethings slip through the cracks! I have no idea what PLC refers to, and what type of protocols these are, i.e. MAC, network, transport, etc. Perhaps someone from Allen-Bradley reads this group?! 8-) I haven't found any mention of these protocols in the usual text books (Halsall, Stallings, Tanenbaum). Can anyone refer me to a book that talks about this stuff? -- ****************************************************************************** * Rajiv Arora Email: rajiv@bongo.cc.utexas.edu * * Phone: (512) 795-9015 * ******************************************************************************
