I've recently discovered that our X-terminals and our Sun support a network service called "link" (or ttylink). It uses port #87, you should be able to check /etc/services to see if the entry is on your system. Here's my question: I don't know, and haven't been able to find *any* information on how this is supposed to be used. I can telnet into the X-Terminal and throw bytes out of its' serial port, but I just have this sneaking suspicion that there's more to it than that. Anyone ever work with this before ? -Randy p.s.
