Hi, I have a slight headache...I am currently on a system (a Sequent machine running a SysV 3.2.1 variant), and the only protocol that will work is kermit! A large headache, considering a 3 meg file will take a long time to download...we also have xmodem/rz/sz, but these won't work. If I try to send with sz, my terminal at home will pick up some signal and wait, but that's as far as it gets. It eventually times out. Xmodem works similarly..the home terminal program will receive a file name of the incoming file, but that's it, it times out after a while. Can someone e-mail me some info about what makes kermit so special that it will work, while the others won't? I'm pretty ignorant about these protocols, except that I REALLY would like to get zmodem working... Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kevin Fisher ><> | "Thank you.
