Some time ago, I read that there was an effort by the IEEE or some
members of the IEEE to form a committee to form a standard for using
the power line as a bus to be used as a local area networking medium.
Since then--couple of years ago--I haven't heard or read anything
about it although I am a member of the IEEE Communications Society,
IEEE Computer Society and ACM. Is there anyone out there who knows
what is going on--if anything ??

PS. Email is fine..
