Subsidiary of Big Six Management Consulting firm is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and implement data communications technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Design & develop proprietary communication protocols in C on DOS and OS2 
 platforms.
*Work with system design and integration needs in-house and for clients.  This   will include certain specialty hardware for specific tasks within the gateway   architecture.
*Develop communications products using a wide variety of prorocols including:
 SNA,X.25,LU2,LU6.2,etc

Requirements:

*Several years experience in software development in C.

*Above average knowledge of DOS or OS/2, data communications protocols and
 system design techniques.

*Knowledge of asynchronous and synchronous communications LAN and Intel RMX.

*Able to interact with all levels of personnel, responsive to short term needs.

*Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

SALARY:  $60k+ with potential for additional bonus.
