I recently heard of a new protocol being developed for image transfer on the Internet, including compression. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can you point me towards some information? An RFC? Thanks Tim Buck timbuck@borg.lib.vt.edu rri!tim@vtserf.cc.vt.edu

This protocol includes image presentation as well as messaging. One of the transport stacks endorsed within this industry standard is TCP/IP.
