Hi Does anybody know how the MNP protocols are emulated in terminal software? I have seen MTE by MagicSoft do this. I haven't seen anything for Mac, though. I think it would be feasible to write a connection tool to do it. So I have a few questions: - Where can I ftp the protocol specs? - Is there some sample code available? (I have found some for MNP-2) - How do I get rid of start and stop bits generated by Mac hardware? How are PCs different in this sense? - I have figured out that V.42 and V.42bis can not be emulated. Please correct if I am mistaken. Please reply in email. I'll summarize the replies. Thanks for the time. Petri ________________________

Greetings, y'all, Has anyone ever heard of the NetBios running on top of ISDN? Forgive me for posting such a question on this news group because I don't know where else I could do this. Thanks, --BQN
