Hi

i am Max From Italy

i want know information about communication

I work with HP9000 with o.s. UNIX and X-Term
and if you want to connect with bbs or network
i can use ftp/telnet with

numerical address 146.169.11.3

or        address archie.doc.ic.ac.uk


but if i have the telephon number like 9-008-9998878

in which way i can to connect with these bbs or network?

uucp, cu ? are these that i must use but in which way?
