Yet another Zmodem question

As a few people may know, Zmodem allows for support of LZW data compression.
However, I know of only *one* program that supports this feature: Pro-YAM
for Unix. Moreover, it is a commercial program. I'm interested in finding
out whether anyone knows of either of these:

(1) A public-domain or free implementation of Zmodem for 4.3 BSD Unix,
    including support for LZW compression.

(2) *Any* implementation of Zmodem for MS-DOS that includes support for LZW
    compression.

The original source code for Zmodem (rzsz or if it's szrz..) should be
available on several systems. I'm not sure if it's got support for LZW
or not -- but it's a Unix implementation.

The other question of course is.. unless you're sending un-compressed
files, LZW compression will have little effect and can in many cases
increase the transfer overhead.
