Lantastic SDK?

Hopefully this is the right group(s) for this question....

I'm interested in doing some programming that involves exchangin information
over a Lantastic network. Conceptually, it's similar to the idea of the
network "chat" program supplied with the hardware, so I know that it is
possible to do so.

My question is, do the Lantastic people make some sort of software
developer's kit available? Or is it all proprietary?

I've checked the local bookstores, and they don't seem to know of any books
on the subject (though there are a number for Novell networks).

Also, the meagre manual supplied with the LAN is intended for sheep-like users,
not anyone interested in hacking it.

Thanks for any help-- even a friendly RTFM if you can tell me which FM....
