reject the parameters they don't like.
My guess for your case: Brixton tries to negotiate some IPCP
parameters, and Cisco doesn't like it.
And apparently Brixton doesn't handle the rejection well. If you can,
try configuring the Brixton end so it doesn't request so much. But
since newer cisco software handles a larger variety of negotiated
options, perhaps the Brixton end isn't prepared to handle (or
correctly reject) all that the cisco requests.
Either way, you'd have to watch the negotiations progress to see what
made them unhappy with each other.
(Sounds like I'm giving advice to the lovelorn, doesn't it? :-)
