Yes. /dev/ppp[0-4]

Hmm.  I  was  going  to use a different subnet for my remote ppp hosts and
the  ppp  devices on the local host. The local host might have an ethernet
at  142.49.30.1  and  the ppp devices at 142.49.31.1 with the remote hosts
being 142.49.31.[2-254]
