I need help from you PPP/CHAP gurus out there! I haven't seen any articles regarding this subject so I would appreciate any information and direction in this area. Has anyone run across or know of any implementation(s) where the password used by PPP/CHAP during the authentication process has expired and the user need to enter a new one? Can the user be notified with a message or a return code that's interpreted by a user application? Also, is there any way an interactive terminal screen can be brought up allowing the user to change his/her password? The user can be using Windows NT or WIndows 95. In Windows 95, Dial-Up Networking is used. For analog calls, there is an option where a terminal screen can be brought up before or after a call completes but unfortunately, there's no such option when using an ISDN card such as the US Robotics Sportster 128K card. My focus is with internal ISDN cards. Windows NT have a similar problem with RAS where there aren't any terminal screens that can be brought up when interfacing with an ISDN card. Again, I would like to know if during or after a PPP/CHAP authentication, how can the user be notified that the password need to be changed and is there an easy way of providing an interface for them to change it. Thanks in advance for any insight! Andy
