Sorry, 

It was too late for me, and apparently for others.  Many submissions were made 
yesterday to snmp@uu.psi.com.  Just to reiterate, the internet standard is typically
(but NOT always) to send mail to the administrator through: 

      <groupname>-request@<mailaddress>

To get on the list, place "help" in the subject fields.

For the SNMP group it is:

	snmp-request@uu.psi.com

For the SNMP version 2 group, it is:

	snmp2-request@thumper.bellcore.com

Hope this sets things straight, and helps redeem my name in the SNMP group!
