We have a TCP/IP network of Silicon Graphics, Sun, and Motorola hosts. I am looking for a the source to a simple snmp agent that would let me interogate the hosts that support snmp (at least the SGIs that I am aware of). I just want something that will retrieve a small portion of the MIB of a remote host. I am new to this area so I may not be phrasing the question correctly. If you can send an example or direct me to one I would appreciate it. I have checked the archives an cannot find anything that is appears to be a small example. thanks Doug Toppin uunet!melpar!toppin
