Does Sun have any plans to release a more comprehensive SNMP agent than is currently provided with Sun Net Manager ? Are there publicly available SPARC agents and MIBs that are more comprehensive ? -- Rick Frink (513) 865-1645 Mead Data Central Telecomm/Campus Networks P.O. Hewlett-Packard sells an extensible agent for SunOS and for HP/UX.
Their extensible agent allows the system manager to build MIB extensions
that are realized with shell-scripts. Call a HP sales rep.
