ST-II (or raw ip) on SCO. /etc/sockcf?

[This is cross-posted. Please follow up to email. -Thanks] I am trying to install ST-II, a streams protocol, (RFC 1190) onto a SCO box. I have instructions on how to install ST-II onto a Sun, which involves rebuilding the kernel and other not so nice things. If I have to I am willing to do this on the SCO, but the networking is different enough to cause me big problems. Here is what I need: ST-II runs with IP version number set to 5. What I would like is to have a socket type interface to this protocol. I need to be able to send packets and recieve packets with IP version set to 5. I *THINK* I need to modify /etc/sockcf, but what do I use for a device? I am willing to somehow use RAW IP sockets to get what I want but that needs the protocol to be in /etc/sockcf. Also I think that sendto will pre-pend the IP header with version set to 4. Does anybody have any RAW IP code for SCO? Has anybody changed /etc/sockcf? I don't need a walk through, but some pointers or snippits of code would be a big help. Thanks, Marty.
