The only patch involved is the one that Philip Gladstone sent me.  He
says that he sent it in to you as well (SETTIMEOFDAY_DAMAGED).  If you
want, I can generate a README about my experiences with RISC/os 5.  I
can generate one now, but it will only be valid for my experiences
with a MIPS R4000 machine.  If you are willing to wait a few weeks, I
will have upgraded our R3000 machines as well, and can give info on
what happened there (and give a source patch for the kernel).

In any case, I'd like to wait a few days, as I am having some odd
stepping problems with ntp on the R4000.  I enclose a bit of a log
below.  Any hints on what I should look at?  To me, it looks like the
system clock is just jumping or something.

Incidentally, could you tell me what units the compliance is measured in.
