I want to write a localisation preferences program (to replace the standard one on the Amiga) and I need timezone information. I already got a physical map of the world from some FTP server, but I can't seem to find a timezone map on line anywhere. Ideally I would like a bitmap of the world (one pixel per degree, say), with each pixel's value indicating its offset from GMT, but I guess that if the data is available anywhere, it'd be in some sort of coordinate/vector format. That doesn't matter much (I can easily write conversion software). If you have any ideas, please e-mail me. If I find out I'll post the information back to appropriate Usenet groups. Thanks in advance. --Andrew (say, there isn't a FAQ I've ignored is there?) -- | \=====\ | Andrew Forrest - 4th Year Computing Science | | /\\ | University of Strathclyde - aforrest@cs.strath.ac.uk | | /==\\==( |--------------------------------------------------------------| | _( )\ | .eb thgim ti kniht I ?egassem lanimilbus a siht sI |
