I am looking for more info on Spatial light modulator developed by NTT. It
appeared in Laser Focus World, May 1990 issue.

It reads:

In April (1990), Nippon Telgraph and Telephone announced the development of
an image processor that does not need to convert images into electroni
signals to process them. The sytem includes a new high-speed spatial light
modulator based on ferroelectric liquid crystals, with a response time of
only 70 microsecond. The processor operates at more than 2000 frames/s. A
detailed report will follow.

If anyone knows about this product, where to get more info, or NTT's office
address/phone number/e-mail, please e-mail me.

thank you.
