I won't dispute any of your figures, but in the older BERG catalogs they 
listed prices for everything and I picked a component line based on price.
(and everything in the book was strong enough for my needs)

If you dont need the heavy duty stuff, these are the prices I found for
what I wanted in the Min-E-Pitch line. ( cable chain system, chain pitch
is .157" and 7/32 " wide    100LB tensile str.)

Polyurethane cable chains (steel cable molded inside) have the advantage of
never needing messy lubrication

If you use the plastic gears (delryn) these are the prices
