I am beginning work on a new project for which I need to compile a list of most commonly occuring and most damaging faults/failures in robotic joints. If you have had problems with faults or failures in the bearings, transmissions, actuators or whatever else in the joints of robots that you have used, I would like to hear about it. Of course, any pointers to written materials or work done in this area will also be appreciated. Thanks, Pramath Sinha Robotics and Perception Laboratory Queen's University sinha@qucis.queensu.ca
