Last weekend, I found a TCC Hearoid robot at a yard sale for $25.00. After much tinkering, I got it to work, recognizing spoken commands and performing with enough flair to inspire sibling rivalry in the dog (Somehow, Arthur C. Clarke and Ray Bradbury never warned us about that problem). The American Distributor for TCC appears to have gone out of business, even though a company called TCC is still at the same address, they claim they sell furiniture and have never been in the robot business. In any event, I am trying to locate a source for some of the optional accessories listed in the catalog. Any pointers should be directed to rivero@kwcc.com. Thanks.
