DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM TO PROTECT YOUR MAC SYSTEM BY ITSELF!
It attempts to get around the problem of disabling extensions
with shift, by using a driver which is on the hard drive, which
prevents it from being booted unless the system booting it
is loading the fileguard init/cdev... It works nicely, but there is a
*little* loophole... anyone with a nice file utility program can
rename those invisible files... thereby deactivating them, and can now restart
the Mac with complete read/write access to the entire disk...
The hacker can then simply move the fileguard init off into never-never
land (trash can...) This results in a completely unprotected mac.

Possible Solution
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You can partition your hard drive... (There are many utilities around
to do this.) Put the system and any applications you wish to have protected
in one partition... install fileguard on this partition, and also lock
the partition using your hard disk utility program. This means that,
even if they do use a file editing program, they cannot edit the locked
partition, which contains fileguard etc... It is a bit more painful to change
the FileGuard access privileges once you've locked the partition, but hey
what the hell... This can still be defeated by unlocking the partition
using a hard disk utility, but I think you might be able to find a utility
which requires a password to unlock/lock your hard disk...
