In the npasswd/passwd+ configuration files, it is possible to compare a password to be confirmed with the output of a program (ie., checking for inclusion in a dictionary). Is it possible to perform some editing of the password under test prior to comparing it to the output of a program? My particular question is about checking for passwords of the form: [DIGITS] WORD [DIGITS] I would like to disallow any password which is composed of a dictionary word preceeded by (or followed by) digits.
