I read an article in Dr. Dobb's Journal ( May 1992 ) titled "Untangling Public-key Cryptography" by Bruce Schneier. In it he mentions a public domain program call Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) that implements the RSA public-key encoding/decoding algorithm. He says that this program, last updated by folks in New Zealand in April, is available on computer bulletin boards worldwide. If someone can tell me a specific bulletin board to look for this program I would be most appreciative. Also, I've been unable to find a news group that deals with cryptography in general and would also appreciate leads in that vein. Thanks! Jim Luby
